Visit of Secretary General to explore administrative operation of Rakkohyor group community enterprise.

Mr. Chantanon Wannakejohn, Secretary General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, along with Mr. Paitoon Seelapath, Director of the regional office of Agricultural Economics 9, Miss Pasinee Napombejra, Expert on Public Sector Development and Miss Pornchata Bussuvanno, Expert on Rural Agricultural Development Policy and officials paid a visit to Rakkohyor group community enterprise, KoYo, Mueang Songkhla, Songkhla.
This Community Enterprise was founded by local fish farmers farming Asian Sea-bass (Barramundi) in Songkhla lake. Farmers have naturally cultured Asian Sea-bass in natural three different water resources: fresh, salt, and brackish water, hence, they have not used fish growth promoter and antibiotics with any consideration to consumers, community and environmental sustainability of Songkhla lake.
Mr. Chantanon suggested this group attending Fund for restructure of Agricultural production to enhance Competitiveness (FAC) which one of its missions is fostering farmers affected by Free Trade Agreement. Mrs. Jirawat Chutindhorn, director of Rakkohyor group community enterprise genially held a meeting and briefed managerial activities in this occasion.
